November book haul

Book haul

Every first Saturday of the month is the time when I will show you all of the books I have added to my books the past month. These are all the books I added to my TBR-pile in Novemeber!

This month was the month of the Kindle books (some awesome deals I had to take advantage of) and I also went on a shopping trip to the Boekenfestijn (A Dutch book fair with cheap books) where I managed to restrain myself. I’ve been going every year to the Boekenfestijn for the past three years and I finally learned my lesson that I shouldn’t buy ALL OF THE BOOKS just because they are cheap. I still have some books unread that I bought at the first Boekenfestijn I went to! Anyway, here is my physical book haul:

Between Shades of Grey by Ruta Sepetys: I’ve been meaning to read this since so long. I really love historical fiction and this book sounds really emotional and just awesome. ALso, I know nothing about this topic so I’m glad I get to read about it and learn a bit more.

Shades of Earth by Beth Revis: I LOVE Across the Universe. I finally read the sequel A Million Suns recently and that one ended on SUCH a cliffhanger. I NEED TO READ THIS. Also yay for finishing a series, because I always forget to buy the sequels unfortunately.

Books bought at the Boekenfestijn
Stay by Deb Caletti: Truth be told, I don’t know what this books is about. I bought Stay mainly because I just want to read more contemporary books and I know that many people have loved Deb Caletti’s books.

Shadows Cast by Stars by Catherine Knutsson: Again, I don’t really know what this book is about. I just got really grabby because I saw hardcover book for SUCH a cheap price. And the cover is so pretty!

Between the Lines by Jodi Picoult and Samantha van Leer: Finally, a book I know what it is about, LOL! There are actually quite a few people who didn’t like this, but I just had to give it a try, especially for such a cheap price.

Kindle books

World After One & Only Brooke

World After by Susan Ee: Angelfall is an AMAZING read, so naturally I had to have World After. I’m so curious what’s going to happen next!

One & Only by Viv Daniels: I’ve heard that this is a New Adult book without the usual cliches. Of course I’m curious because the usual New Adult books weren’t what I wanted for this genre. Really excited for this one!

Brooke by Veronica Rossi: The Under the Never Sky series is one of my favorite series EVER and I loved Roar & Liv, the other novella. I’m really curious about this one, because Brooke isn’t particularly one of the most popular characters. Like Roar, beloved by all: it was kind of obvious to get his own novella.

The Transcend Time saga by Michelle Madow: I bought the complete series, because Michelle Madow would donate the money earned by November purchases to the Philippines. That was the extra incentive for me to buy it, actually. I wanted to read this when it first came out, but I had never bought it.

Shatter Me Unravel me

Shatter Me and Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi: I’m so excited to read these! They were both on sale so I had to buy them!

That was all the new books I got this month! Have you read any of these?
